Ceridwen’s Wedding at Commander’s Mansion in Watertown, MA
Anyone who follows my work knows that I serve up a lot of natural-looking makeup. Many of my clients are not everyday makeup wearers, and don’t want a look that’s too “showy” or overtly glamorous. That means keeping the complexion soft (with freckles and beauty marks fully visible), the eyes defined but not noticeably decorated, and the lips and cheeks slightly blushed for the camera, but not “painted on.”
In the industry, we call it clean beauty. While I unabashedly love breaking out my colors and getting creative, clean beauty (or in some cases, clean beauty with a subtle “pop” somewhere on the face) is one of my absolute favorite things to do. So when I met Ceridwen, I could tell we were a great match. Her bridal look was all about the skin and the cheeks – and her beautiful smile.
