Boudoir fashion shoot with Shannon Grant at Old Stone Church

There’s nothing like a spooky historic building for juxtaposing some pretty. When Shannon asked me to do hair and makeup for an editorial take on the traditional boudoir session, I was all in. We spent the afternoon dodging dust and pigeon poop, sure, but the results were well worth it. I opted for rumpled curls and a stained lip for our model, starting with a softer tone and then adding color to create a luxurious deep wine-hued pout.
