Ela’s wedding at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA
The makeup look for Ela was classic, what I usually call “rose-y neutrals.” Instead of dark smoky browns or greys, I chose pinky-plums, rose gold, and champagne tones to warm up her complexion and enhance her eyes. The overall effect is flushed and flattering, perfect for achieving that bridal glow!
Ela’s look was finished with flushed cheeks and lips, precise eyeliner, and – of course – lots of lashes. And, as you can see in the video below, it held up perfectly when she cried reading the letter from her soon-to-be husband! (The trick is to gently dab the inner corners of the eyes with a folded tissue to absorb the tears – or the cheeks, if tears have already spilled. As long as you blot instead of wiping or rubbing, the airbrush foundation and water-resistant eye makeup holds up all day!)
