Katherine’s rainy summer wedding at the Red Barn in Amherst MA
I’m a 90’s girl, so I’ll always remember Alanis Morissette singing about how “rain on your wedding day” is ironic*. But even though the skies opened right in the middle of Katherine’s outdoor ceremony (!), I think you’ll agree that the photos (and the memories) are unmatched. There’s just something about the soft light of a rainy day and how adorable everyone looks snuggled under an umbrella. (And kudos to Michelle for capturing the moment everyone made a beeline for the barn!)
Katherine opted for a natural look with wispy individual lash clusters and a pop of summery color on her lips – perfect for a bride bringing so much warmth and light to an unexpectedly stormy summer day.
* Or, more accurately, how it isn’t ironic at all and thus singing a song about it being ironic is, in itself, somewhat ironic. (Still with me?)
