Sue and Lucy’s wedding at the Amherst Women’s Club

I’d met this too-cute-for-words couple previously at a local gathering for photographers that I like to gate-crash (hey, without photographers, I wouldn’t have a job!) and I was so honored when Lucy asked me to do the makeup for their October 2016 wedding. Lucy wanted a touch of vintage glamour for her makeup (which I felt provided a perfect complement to their dapper weddingwear), while Sue preferred very subtle makeup to enhance her complexion but keep her looking like herself.
(After looking at these photos, would you believe that Lucy had been ill the night before? When I arrived for makeup she was still pretty much curled up recovering, and we all made sure she got more rest while the rest of the gals got ready. Happily, she felt much better by the time she was in the makeup chair, and once the makeup was on, no one would ever guess how little sleep she’d gotten!)
